Using This Site

About the File Formats
Some documents on this site are available in multiple formats.

• "Word" documents are saved and posted in Microsoft Word. Most versions of Internet Explorer will open these files; you may also follow the screen prompts to save a local copy to your computer, which may be opened and manipulated using your word processor.
• "html" documents will open within your browser window. Most html files on this site will also include the navigation buttons at left.
• "pdf" documents require a plug-in viewer. Adobe Reader is the leading such viewer. If you are not able to open a "pdf" file on this site, try downloading the free Adobe Reader.
• "max" documents require Visioneer's PaperPort software. Some of the resources from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court are available only in this format. The court has posted instructions for using this file format, as well as links to download a PaperPort viewer.
